Some Sundays you're pretty sure the song of the week is "Mama told me there'd be days like this...."

Do you lesson plans ever look like this? Scribbled down as you're walking out the door. Of course it has to be the week the new Pianist starts. I wonder what first impression this gave:

The good news is that whether is scribbled or neatly typed, it still gets the job done.  :)

My Mother, who taught elementary school for 35 years, taught me that it's important to have a lesson plan - and to be prepared to deviate from it.  ;)

I print my lesson plans on the back of my Sunday Sheet (the paper I give to my Pianist). Here's an example:

Sunday Sheet

It is very helpful to have a form to use every Sunday.

I try to keep it all on one side. I give a short synopsis of the lesson plan for my pianist with a list of the songs we'll be singing. I print my lesson plan in detail on the back on my copy so I have everything handy.

Make a copy for you, your Pianist and your Presidency (if they want a copy, too).
